For years, in Señoríos de Relleu we had a pending subject, to SURPRISE people with a “1st day of harvest” at the height of what it deserves.
For this we needed a fantastic IMAGE, an extraordinary EVOO and a nice STORY.
FINALLY, at the beginning of 2024, in the ninth forum Cámara Business Club of Alicante, where Agatha Ruiz de la Prada was the guest speaker, the idea came up to develop something different and special together.
The Sensorial Star tells us what are the sensory characteristics in nose and in mouth of an olive oil in a simple and graphic way, elaborated by a group of tasters. Indicates how fruity, spicy, bitter it is and the rest of perceptions between them. The values that each sensory star indicates are values relative to the characteristics of that particular oil. The different circles allow us to see which are the most outstanding in that oil and how their relative intensities and attributes are perceived. These levels are never exact absolute values comparable to other sensory stars of other oils.
